The Spark Welding Program offers students an opportunity to participate in hands-on work-based learning in the field of welding.

Program Details
The Spark Welding Program will follow the American Welding Society (AWS) welding curriculum. Students will learn theory and will then be able to put their knowledge into practice on the warehouse floor.
The goal for each student is to complete the work-based learning program through successfully passing the AWS theory coursework and skills tests, as well as pass final exams held off-site at an accredited testing facility; allowing students the opportunity to become certified in welding.

Safety is Priority
Throughout the Spark Welding Program, students will be mentored by experienced professionals, allowing them to observe and participate in active projects happening in the workshop. The program will be centered around the health and safety of all individuals on the workshop floor. Instructors will demonstrate proper safe operation practices as students learn throughout the year. Our instructor will begin the program by taking all students through an OSHA 10 safety course.
